The Ghizzoni company was established in the early 1950s in Villa Gaida, located between Reggio Emilia and Parma, at the center of Parmigiano-Reggiano cheese production.

Founded by Remo Ghizzoni, the company initially served the local market by manufacturing equipment for the production, distribution, and quality control of Parmigiano-Reggiano cheese.

Over time, through ongoing production enhancements and a continual focus on new market opportunities, Ghizzoni has achieved significant growth. Today, its products are recognized and valued both nationally and internationally.

In 2009, Ghizzoni New Co. Srl entered into an agreement with the Parmigiano Reggiano Cheese Consortium to use the renowned brand on merchandise, cutlery, apparel, and packaging. Our philosophy remains centered on delivering increasingly reliable and innovative products, with the goal of being a trusted partner for our customers.
